Dr. Zach Weisbrod
Dr. Zach Weisbrod has over 15 years of experience in treating patients. He was intrigued by chiropractic after several sports related injuries. “Chiropractic was instrumental in my recovery after injuring my back and hip in football and basketball. Dr. Weisbrod is a Palmer Chiropractic College graduate. He also has a Bachelor of Science Degree, and an Associate’s Degree in Biotechnology. Dr. Weisbrod has taught Anatomy and Physiology at the college level, and continues to take classes every year to stay updated on the latest treatment options.
Originally from Northwest Iowa, Dr. Weisbrod has practiced in both Washington state and Illinois. Dr. Weisbrod moved to Boone with his family in 2006. “ I knew once we became parents, that Iowa would be the place we would raise our children.” Dr. Weisbrod’s family includes his wife Lisa, son Grant and daughter Brooke. Dr. Weisbrod enjoys golf, sporting events (Go Steelers!), fishing, and traveling with his family in his free time.
Boone Family Chiropractic has enjoyed growth every year since 2006. Dr. Weisbrod continues to improve treatments and services to serve the Boone community.
Dr. Gena Daly
Dr. Gena Daly has over 15 years of experience in treating patients. She became excited with chiropractic at a young age while watching her family receive chiropractic adjustments. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2001. She has practiced in Indiana and Minnesota. Dr. Daly is excited to now call Iowa her home again.
She was raised in Carroll, IA along with her sister and brother. Dr. Daly is currently married to her husband, Jamie, for over 10 years. They enjoy spending time being outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Braden McGowan
Dr. Braden McGowan was born and raised in Urbandale, Iowa before graduating from The University of Iowa with a B.A. in Exercise Science. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic in October 2020. Braden was first exposed to chiropractic after a neck injury in high school football. After a neurologist recommended he stop playing contact sports, Braden sought out chiropractic care for his injury and was able to return to the sports he loved. His favorite being rugby, which he played while at Urbandale High School, The University of Iowa and Palmer College of Chiropractic. Thanks to chiropractic care he still plays rugby today whenever he gets the chance.
Dr. McGowan not only treats the spine. He has received extra training in diagnosis and treatment of the extremities and soft tissues, as well as rehabilitation exercises. His certifications include: Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (CCEP), Active Release Techniques (ART) – Full Body Level 1, McKenzie Method of Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT) Lumbar (A) & Cervical (B), and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) – Level 1.
In his free time Braden likes to spend time with family, friends, and doing anything sports related. Whether that is playing rugby, golfing, or cheering on the Hawkeyes and Vikings. He also enjoys running, lifting weights, and hanging out with his cat Harley.
